In the United States, these standards have legal recognition where an applicable monograph exists (e.g., for products labelled as &#8220;USP&#8221; or &#8220;NF&#8221;), although the USP is not a regulatory body: verification of compliance is the responsibility of the competent authorities (such as the FDA).<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"inline-flex transition ease-linear border duration-150
